Late Model Rules

The Late Model Division will follow the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model Stock Car rules with the following exceptions:

Engine Options, Weight and Carburetors …

Cars running a built engine must weigh 3,100 pounds total and 1,375 right side and run a 500 cfm carburetor

Cars running GM Crate Engine Part #88958604 must weigh 3,050 pounds & 1,375 right side and run either a 650 cfm or a 390 cfm carburetor.

Cars running GM Crate Engine Part #24502609-ZZ4 of Part #88958603 must weigh 3,000 pounds and 1,325 pounds right side and run either a 650 cfm or a 390 cfm carburetor.

Cars running Ford Crate D347SR must weigh 3,100 pounds and 1,390 pounds right side and run either a 650 cfm or a 390 cfm carburetor.

BURN-OFF - MCP allows 3/4 pound per lap for a burn-off when weighing the car after the race. (i.e. 40 lap race = 30 pound allowance)

TIRES – 10″ Hoosier F-45 Scuffs sold by Track at $140/set plus $5 per tire Mounting fee

OTHER CARS – FCS will allow cars to compete from other tracks with weight additions and/or restrictor plates added in lieu of competition at the Tech Directors discretion.  Please contact Langley Austin 276.613.4208 to be prepared before arriving.
